​​Workforce Development & Organizational Learning

Clients hire us to create customized, evidence-based adult learning designs to improve employee skills and increase engagement, retention, and satisfaction. Our scalable implementation strategies are customized for clients to meet their goals and their budget. We use monitoring and evaluation strategies to measure progress toward closing the knowing-doing gap. Examples of these services include needs assessment and analysis, content creation, facilitation, coaching, and event planning. 

 

Our work in this area has included: 

  • Creating a facilitator and leadership development program for a large non-profit. 

  • Designing an evaluation framework for an in-house learning management system. 

  • Organizing an in-person conference for 400 educators.

Project Planning and Management

We work with clients to plan and manage projects of various sizes with a focus on creating adaptive strategies to bridge where clients are to where they want to go. This customized planning provides clients a roadmap of how to move forward in reaching their goals with options for additional services that fit their needs, budget, and organizational priorities.

Our work in this area has included: 

  • Securing and overseeing a three-year $600,000 grant to scope and scale a learning framework. 

  • Creating and leading a university Open Educational Resources (OER) initiative, realizing more than $200,000 savings to students in two years. 

  • Designing and implementing an employee evaluation program and policies.
     

Operational Improvement

We work with clients to review operations including internal policies, systems, and processes to develop focused improvement plans to address specific operational challenges and barriers. This can include recommendations or changes in standard operating procedures, policies, or key organizational systems. This service can be expanded to support implementing and measuring the impact of these changes.

Our work in this area has included: 

  • Designing and implementing an LMS usability study. 

  • Increasing the use of support resources by 838% through online performance support. 

  • Creating standard operating procedures for internal operations including event planning, leadership onboarding, and meeting planning and facilitation.
